Project 2: Comparative Analysis Report
This research project adopts document analysis methodology that involves documenting, analyzing, producing, and a critical chronological and diagrammatical interpretation of Modern Malaysian architectural history. This project emphasizes critical analysis of the post Merdeka/Independence of Malaysian architecture in the effort to understand the influences of post-modernism to architectural
design and construction, building science and technology, and urban design. The project is to distinguish the way in which many diverse factors contribute to the development of Modern Malaysian architecture.
Reflection:
I like this group project because one of the building here is a water park, which i used to go so often as a kid. However, due to the Covid-19 situation, we can barely get any details information for it, that Sunway Lagoon. I am grateful that I have all the groupmate from my course, so we can arrange time to work on this project better. The whole process is quite smooth, since we have leader that really supportive, she distributed the task to us very reasonable and clear. This help to finish the project within week, especially when we all were actually in the last few week of final submission of all subject. I personally feel this is the most comfortable assignment I had in the whole semester.
