Project 1: Sketching Analysis
The history of architecture traces the changes in architecture through various traditions, regions, overarching stylistic trends, and dates. The historical richness creates a very vibrant architectural fabric. However, many historical buildings may face the risk of being demolished to make way for more contemporary buildings. Thus, by recording, documenting and analysing the buildings, we can contribute to preserve the historical evidence of the valuable historical Architecture.

Reflection:
This project used 7 weeks to complete what I find most interesting is the study of ancient Egypt, because it still stay mysterious even in the year of 2020. There are a lot theories I read in internet, but none of them is 100 percent sure how a pyramid is built. Due to the pandemic situation, we were having online class and the restriction to connect the tutor and lecturer is there. Through this project, I really appreciate what the people have done in the previous time. No matter it is only an undecorated stone building or a fancy marble column, I find all of them are so amazing! For example, when I am doing the research on the building in middle Ages and Renaissance, I felt I am one of the citizen in the city, I can iamgine the building in front of my eyes, they are really glorious and huge. Thanks to the history, they record all the buildings and effort the architects and designers. Every building, every shape, every detail, there must be a story behind it. The beauty of the ancient building will never out of style, I hope that when I become a licensed designer, I can include some of these elements in my design.
