Project 2: Vernacular and Traditional Architecture Infographic
In this project, we are required to produce an infographic of selected vernacular and traditional architecture in Asian region. We should first interpret the collected data and organize it in the form of graphics or diagrams to show the evaluation of information.
Reflection:
I have selected Vernacular Malay architecture because it is the most common type of architecture in my living area, but I have never really understood the structure of this architecture. It is amazing to know that this type of architecture can actually be moved from place to place after the construction is done. The method of joining building structures together without using any contemporary technology is a valuable technique that should be passed down from generation to generation.
